"Being the Change"
The COMMUNITY MISSION
JUDEO-CHRISTIAN CENTER

Welcome to THE COMMUNITY MISSION

THE COMMUNITY MISSION is not your traditional church. We reach out to all, according to their needs so they can see the Love of Jesus in us.
THE COMMUNITY MISSION is a Messiah-centered community of believers and media-driven ministry based in Minersville,PA. We are devoted to proclaiming the Gospel of Yeshua (Jesus) and pursuing the roots of our Christian faith. We follow the Scriptures and encourage individuals and families to live for Yeshua with a foundation of the Spirit and the Truth. Our focus as a local community is to live out God’s Word by serving our Neighbors in Schuylkill County in love by coming together as mishpacha (family) in worship, study, discipleship, celebration, and sharing the Gospel. Our Vision Sharing the love of Yeshua/Jesus and making disciples who are committed to living out the Word of God. What We Believe We believe in the inspiration of the Bible as the Word of God. We believe in one God, eternally existent as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the prophesied Messiah of the Old Testament, the Son of God, and fully divine. We believe Yeshua was crucified for our sins, raised from the dead on the third day, and will one day return to establish His Messianic Kingdom on earth. We believe that all mankind has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. In order to be saved, one must understand that he has broken God’s perfect Law and is condemned because of his sin. He must then receive Yeshua as Savior and believe that outside of the death, burial, and resurrection of Yeshua there is no way for salvation. We believe that after a person receives Yeshua as their Savior, it is then their responsibility as a believer to submit to the teachings of Messiah Yeshua, to be baptized (immersed) into His name, and to follow Him all the days of their life. We believe that the Torah/Law has not been abolished, but that following it is an expression of love and obedience to God. Keeping the Torah is not a means to salvation, but is the believer's response to their salvation already received by faith in the Messiah.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
1. We believe in miraculous healing through the power of the Holy Spirit
We believe our faith in God will save and heal disease or physical ailments, and we pray for health and healing and to leave the outcome in God's hands. Our preachers have the ability to heal others through special avenues of God's healing.
2. Our church emphasizes the work of the Holy Spirit by speaking in tongues during public worship. Having the ability to speak in tongues is often regarded as a sign an individual has been baptized by the Holy Spirit.
3. Our church encourages and assists others to hear and respond to the gospel. We encourage members to pursue the fulfillment of the Lord's word and evangelize people who have lost their way in the shortest period of time.
4. We believe people can fall from grace due to sins and that there is a need for personal repentance and faith in Jesus dying for our sins as the cornerstone of salvation.
5. We believe Satan is a real and evil being, while others see "Satan" as a metaphor for evil wrongdoings and believe Satan is a reality, and sinners will be eternally judged by Satan.
How We Worship
We believe that worship is the primary means by which Christians draw near to God to offer him a sacrifice of praise, in faith that his blessings will follow. This blessing involves the manifestation of the Holy Spirit’s presence amongst Christians as they worship.
A central reason, if not the reason Christians should gather together is for corporate worship in the Spirit, for it is there that God reveals himself in particular.
Biblical Feasts
We also observe all the biblical feast days and have meetings and get-togethers throughout the week. To find out more, please visit our events page. Your support makes it possible for us to share the Word of God with people around the world through our weekly services and online media resources. Thank you for partnering with us in reaching the nations with the Gospel of Yeshua / Jesus and the truth of His Word.
What we Believe a Church should Do.
We believe that the church should function more like a community. Not just random individuals who gather in common space for an hour and not a community of insiders indifferent to the world. Instead, we believe the church is a community of people who serve together, give together, invite friends together and do community beyond Sunday as well as on Sunday. And above all, it will be a community that is continually welcoming new friends and new family.
